Profitability vs. Prosperity

Can you make a living from the difference only you can make?

Sure. If that's what you want to do.

At some point, you realize that profitability is different from prosperity.

You probably are already familiar with the experience of trading hours of your life for dollars.

How does that feel?

It never felt great for me.

No matter how many dollars you earn per hour or week, it isn't enough if what you're doing for them doesn't align with who you are, what you're good at, and where you belong.

The invitation in the second half of life is to recalibrate your aim by putting the integrity and intention of your work first.

Leveraging your wisdom and experience to serve people who share your values and need your talents to enhance their lives creates true prosperity—a sense of fulfillment, meaning, and thriving.

What I have found is the remuneration, and even financial abundance follows. Prosperity can be profitable.

Invest in getting the work right first. If you encourage others to invest in themselves by paying you for the transformation you facilitate, it will be easier to see the value you deliver.

What does prosperity look like for you in your encore endeavor? How can you trust yourself enough to invest in yourself and the difference only you can make today?
