tips from podcast guests Jul 06, 2022

Today I'm sharing some insight for finding fulfillment, forging meaning, and making an impact from an inspiring difference-maker living her legacy. Barbilee Hemmings is the founder of Quality of Life Assurance. Catch our entire conversation here.

[BARBILEE] "Take time to pee. No, seriously, okay?"

"So we have to pee about five times a day, right? If you're not, there's a problem. Drink more water, okay? But at least five times a day is pretty much the minimum."

"Take the time. Go into the bathroom. Go pee."

"Women, don't squat. Sit. Relax. Allow. Don't press. Just allow."

"Boys, don't be looking around. Do your thing, right? Wash your hands. Play with the bubbles. Sing 'Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star.'

"Take a minute as you're walking out. Take three to five really good belly breaths and move on with your day."

"Just take time to pee."

"I love that. It helps bring at least five moments of intentional awareness and mindfulness to your day. And that will make a great headline when I put it in the blog!"

Barbilee just delivered a powerful insight about how you can take mundane, everyday activity as an opportunity for some conscious appreciation and presence. How might you practice enoughness and taking small steps in living your legacy today?
